Feeling Angry!! Learn how to handle it!

Anger is one of the strong emotions, which everyone experiences in our day-to-day life. It is very easy to make anyone angry but it’s very difficult to came out of it. Angerness comes for a short period, but it causes damage for a very long period, sometime throughout the life.

Let’s take a situation, where one couple finds their relationship, not working for them. They often fights or argue with each other. Both of them don’t understand what they actually want from their relationship. whenever they fight, both get shouted like anything on each other. Here, the emotion which appear is Anger. 

Sometimes, we don’t want to get angry, but situation makes us angry and whenever we feel ourselves angry, we speak those words which might hurts the sentiment of others, which may cause long lasting damage to the relationship, it can be with your partner, friends or family.

So, let try to find the ways or tricks which might help you to come out of this emotion i.e., “Angerness”.

 Trick No.1– Whenever you feel angry, or you are arguing with your partner or family member, or with anyone, the very first thing we should do, that we should not stay at the place. Try to move out from the place and go the place where we don’t have crowd. Keep yourself lonely for a while. Now take deep breaths and calm yourself. Once you are starting to feel better, then think about the cause of your Angerness and look for the better way to deal with the situation. 

Trick No.2– Whenever you feel angry, just drink a glass of water, as drinking a glass of water makes you feel hydrated. Angerness, stress or other negative emotions makes us de-hydrated. Drinking a glass of water, makes our brain active which might help to reduce our angerness and we may then start to look for the solutions.

Trick No.3– Sometimes we are into a normal discussion and such normal discussion takes a shape of argument and such argument may results in fights. It’s better to leave the argument at a very early stage. Whenever you feel someone is arguing, first we should keep ourselves calm and try to look the situation from other’s point of view, as sometimes other person is making a valid point or even if he does not, then we should still try to make him understand our point from different angle. If other is not in a position to listen, then do what we discussed in Trick No.1.

The above tricks we discussed, might not cover all the situations, but one thing we should remember that whenever we are making ourselve angry, it is not only cause damage to other person, but also to our own health.

One of the best way to reduce our stress level or angerness is to do meditation on daily basis. Wakeup early in the morning, plan your day, which will make your day better and you will observe that you have ample amount time for yourself, and to your family/friends.
